Stephen King's Night Shift: Maximum Overdrive & Children of the Corn

We have some of our most fun and thoughtful conversations this week for our penultimate installment in Stephen King's NIGHT SHIFT. This week, Reed gathers together Asia Swartzentruber, Jackson Harper, and Dave Courtney to discuss the short story TRUCKS, as well as the adaptation of it called MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE (which is Stephen King's only attempt to direct a film himself). Then, Nathan walks behind the rows with Meridith Curran, Vera Goudie, and Jess Fischli as they discuss CHILDREN OF THE CORN, including the original story, the most popular 1984 adaptation, and the most recent 2023 version.

Also featuring a Patron segment where Nathan and Steve Beckley discussing two bonus stories: I AM THE DOORWAY and I KNOW WHAT YOU NEED, this is a couple of hours of laughter and heartfelt observations like you've come to know and love. We hope you enjoy it!
