Nope, with Matt Ruff

We continue with our annual run looking back at last year's strongest films by examining the latest offering from visionary director Jordan Peele: NOPE. Peele continues his streak of unpredictability with this simultaneously vast and intimate movie about sibling horse trainers who discover terror in the skies above their remote California ranch and make a concentrated effort to capture proof of the phenomenon on film.

We're joined this week by friend of the FoG and bestselling author Matt Ruff as we unpack humanity's relationship with the natural world and the impulsive drive and desire for fame at any cost. We also spend some time previewing Matt's upcoming novel THE DESTROYER OF WORLDS, a sequel to his New York Times bestseller, LOVECRAFT COUNTRY. Also featuring a Patron-only Whatcha segment (where we're also joined by Matt), this is a hearty and thoughtful discussion we hope you enjoy.
