B-Sides #8: Cobra Kai

Welcome to 2021 everybody! And welcome back to the Fear of God. We're kicking things off this year -- get it? -- with an episode a bit out of our typical format. Nathan welcomes his brother Josh Rouse -- author, blogger, pastor, and all around excellent guy -- to join him and Reed on a discussion about the hit series continuing the Karate Kid Franchise on Netflix and YouTube Premium: COBRA KAI!

After some fun general questions about the franchise as a whole, we prune the bonsai tree a bit further diving into why the series, which could have easily been little more than a nostalgic joke, is one of the most interesting, entertaining, and often quite moving television series in recent history.
