It's time to warm up those vocals, find you some mistletoe and... get ready to battle zombies? That's right, we launch our final phase of our recurring series #inthemourning about learning how to lose with an examination of 2017's unique zombie Christmas musical, ANNA & THE APOCALYPSE.

After a detour through Jarden, Texas again for the first two episodes of Season 3 of HBO's THE LEFTOVERS, we dive into the charming, peppy, extremely clever and very fun adventure that is truly one of a kind. What we find there, amidst the lovable misfits singing their hearts out about breaking away is a film that has some surprising and inspiring things to say about the choice we have in how we face the end of the world.
