Episode 204: Crimson Peak

The work of Guillermo del Toro has received a lot of love and attention on this show, so we were excited when this week's #20/20/2020 installment gave us an excuse to cover his gothic, taboo romance with ghosts in it: CRIMSON PEAK. While we take the film to task for some of its missteps, it provides us a chance to talk about one of its most compelling central ideas... namely what happens when what we call "love" becomes monstrous and makes monsters of us all.
